AD&D Modules and Handbooks

All published by TSR

Player`s Handbook - Everyone who want to play AD&D must have his own Player`s Handbook... Simple as that. These are the main rules of the game.

Dungeon Master`s Guide - Everyone who want to be a DM (Dungeon Master, the one who creates the adventure and play with the mosnters, which is much more fun :o) for AD&D must have his own DM`s Guide... Simple as that. There you will find everything a DM must know for starting his own AD&D campaign, in which world he wants... Of course I recommend you to play in KaranBlade, but there`s many others, as you might see bellow.

Monstrous Manual - Vital for any AD&D campaign, particullary for the DM. Here you will find a huge list with hundreds of fantasy creatures and monsters, with all his atributes and statistics, ready for the play... Without this one you might have alot of work on creating your own monsters. It`s much more easy to have them all listed, to only modify the things you really doesn`t like.

College of Wizardry - The newest handbook for magic and spells. It`s essential for having a real strong magical campaign. Also, TSR is doing a real good design work on their latest releases, like this one...

Dragon Magazine Archive - The renowned journal of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons gaming for the last 25 years is now available as a completely searchable CD-ROM. You can search for words, phrases, even juxtaposed words in any article printed in issues 1 through 250. You can even filter your search by year, issue numbers, title, or body text. The archive comes with a host of viewing options that are optimized for viewing text or art panels. Though the user interface is not compatible with the Macintosh OS, Mac gamers can read any of the articles with Adobe Acrobat.

Core Rules 2.0 Expansion CD-ROM - The Expansion includes 20 books as HTML and RTF files (accessible for both Macs and PCs) plus Windows Help files.

Dragon Magazine Archive : Reference Software - The full 250 editions of Dragon Magazine, the best AD&D monthly publication, inside one CD-ROM.

AD&D Character Record Sheets - It`s basically a book with a good amount of character sheets and spell sheets for AD&D. You don`t exactly have to buy this one, cause there`s alot of personal character sheets on the web, including mine`s, but if you like to have things officially, that`s your option.

Fighter`s Handbook, Ranger`s Handbook, Paladin`s Handbook, Wizard`s Handbook, Priest`s Handbook, Psionic`s Handbook, Druid`s Handbook, Thieves Handbook, Bard`s Handbook, Barbarian`s Handbook, Gladiator`s Handbook, and finally Ninja`s Handbook - These are the complete handbooks for each of the Player`s Handbook character classes, plus some new ones... It`s not a must have, but it definitelly aids alot, bringing some depth for your campaign without slowing it`s playability at all! I recommend them all, specifically the Fighter`s Handbook.

The Complete Book of Dwarves, The Complete Book of Elves, The Complete Book of Gnomes & Halflings, and The Complete Book of Humanoids - These are the complete handbooks for each of the Player`s Handbook fantasy character races... Again, it`s not a must have, but bring much more depth to your campaigns... They describe each race by their own culture and defining aspects. By reading them you will know, by example, that a hill dwarf isn`t quite equal a mountain or deep dwarf. I recommend.

Monstrous Compendium Annuals, Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3 and Vol 4 - Each year, a new compendium of bizarre horrors and startling creations is assembled, guaranteed to astonish the players, enliven campaign, and please the DM.

Arms and Equipment Guide, DM`s Screen & Master Index, Castle Guide, The Complete Book of Villains, The Complete Book of Necromancers, DM`s Survival Kit, and The Dancing Hut of Baba Yaga - These are other quite usefull acessories for the gameplay. Heh, before you ask, Baba Yaga is the name of a famous antique witch... She`s so funny that live in a dancing hut :o)

Encyclopedia Magica, Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3 and Vol 4 - New spells and magical items, all listed in a three part encyclopedia that will pull your campaign`s magic to the limit!

Tome of Magic - Yet another handbook for spells, magical items and magicians... You noted how they love to write about these things? :o)

Wizard`s Spell Compendium, Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3 and Vol 4 - Many, many spells. Very detailed and devised among the various AD&D campaigns.

AD&D Priest's Spell Compendium, Volume One - Finally, some new spells and prayer rituals for the priests and druids!

The Book of Artifacts - Features many new relics and devices native to TSR campaign worlds. You'll even learn how to create artifacts and other magical devices for your own campaign.

Legends and Lore - An amazingly done handbook about the gods and legends of our own world, Earth. Here you will find both Sir Lancelot of Camelot and the gods of the indians and aztecs... Very weird. Particullary usefull for playing on the Planescape campaign seeting(see bellow).

Warriors of Heaven and Guide to Hell - Tired of being always the low level adventurer? Try playing AD&D with an angel of demoniac character and fight endless wars in the outer planes... Very useful for players who would like to be like demi-gods.

Monster Mythology and Demihuman Deities - Know the amazing gods of the demihumans. Despite being settled at Forgotten Realms, the information on Demihuman Deities can be used on any AD&D campaign with no major problems

Player`s Option: Skills & Powers, Player`s Option: Spells & Magic, Player`s Option: Combat & Tatics, and DM`s Option: High Level Campaigns - These are books with optional rules for AD&D. It`s recommended for experienced player`s, because obviously you have to master the main rules to start adding optional ones. But, it`s really well done...

Forgotten Realms Campaign Seeting - This is the most played AD&D campaign. It`s really traditional, but isn`t tradition what we want while reading Tolkien? I mean, a traditional world is a world based on J.R.R. Tolkien books. By the way, you can see their books right here.

Dragonlance Adventures - This is the AD&D campaign of Dragonlance, presented by Margaret Weis herself! If you don`t know yet what the hell is Dragonlance, take a look here.

Dragonlance Classics - A 1999 reviewed reblubishing of all the classical Dragonlance adventures. This one is a must for Dragonlance fans.

The World of Grayhawk - This is the most old AD&D campaign, but it`s still very playable. Based on the tales of Camelot, King Arthur and the famous Round Table.

Al Quadim, Land of Fate - This is another AD&D campaign, based on the arabian nights and his magical deserts. I put it here because it fits perfectly for adventures on the Sand Ocean of Dardeeh, at my KaranBlade world.

Oriental Adventures - This is basically a handbook for oriental seetings on AD&D. I put it here because it fits perfectly for adventures on the Khitai Kingdom, at my KaranBlade world.

Planescape Campaign Seeting - This is the ultimate AD&D campaign. For high level characters and high experienced players. It`s a must have for any RPG fanatic... Also, it fits perfectly for the continuation of the KaranBlade`s campaign, after the charcaters had defeat the Balrog :o)

Birthright Campaign Seeting - I have not seen this campaign yet, because it`s the newest one... But it seen to be hot, take a look. Based on Kings, Knights, Kingdoms and stuff like that.

World Builder's Guide Book and Dungeon Builder`s Guide Book - Tips and very useful guiding instructions and ideas for those who want to start their own world and build its shade dungeons. Yep, I have this one (World Builder`s) :o)

The Art of AD&D Fantasy Game - A book with the artworks of AD&D grand artists, such as Elmore, Caldwell, Easley and Parkinson. If you ever seen some of this guys art you will agree with that: This book is definitelly a must have!

AD&D Adventure Dice Set (7 Dice Set) - If you wanna have the best stylish dices on the house, have these ones :o)

Deck of Wizard Spells, Deck of Priest Spells, Deck of Psionic Powers, Deck of Magical Items, Deck of Encounters, Fighter Pack, Wizard Pack, Priest Pack, Thief Pack - Other "less useful utilities" for AD&D :o)

Return to the Tomb of Horrors - The BEST AD&D single adventure set. Period.
